Tactiles comply to Australian Standards AS/NZS 1428.4:2002. Tested in accordance with AS/NZS 4586:1999 [App D] Slip Resistance Classification R11. Tested in Accordance with AS/NZS 1530.3:1999 Ignitability, Flame Propagation, Heat Release and Smoke Release.
Approved by the Royal Blind Society and the National Federation of Blind Citizens of Australia.
Tactile Ground Indicators are used to warn visually impaired people of on coming hazards. Eg. Stairways, ramps, escalators, bus stops, car parks, railway platforms or any public areas.
Supplied in a 300x300mm mat for easy application. Available in safety yellow. Other colours available on request. Stainless stell tactiles are for more up market applications requiring a less obtrusive appearance. A disk template is available for ease of installation of these stainless steel disks.
